Aussie Hero Quilts SHOUT OUT

I thought I would do a shout out for a blog I have just come across called Aussie Hero Quilts (and laundry bags). As you all know my hubby is in the Middle East so it means a lot to me knowing there are special people who give a hoot about our troops. I also know a lot of you lovely ladies have loved ones in the Defence Forces and that we are caring, sharing people and would always love to do something special for our troops to give them a little "something" to smile about.

Please take a look at what the lovely ladies have been trying to achieve with their gifts of gratitude. It started out making laundry bags and now quilts. I imagine it would feel ever so special for our military troops to receive something from a person they don't know and to know that we do really appreciate what they do for our country and for us in general.

Hey Kris, thank you for sharing about this. I have bookmarked it to come back to and will think about (and then work on) what I can do to help.

Thanks for the info sharing. Sewing for a worthy cause is so satisfying knowing it would not only provide something useful or of comfort but hopefully put a smile on their face.
