My original prim Pippa and her Pear

and Kate Erbach's Artsy Pippa she has called Melba and little monkey (isn't he soooo cute)

Chatter about the crafts I love....quilting, doll making, scrapbooking, prims, friends and family.

I have finished my first PIF gifts and have taken up another PIF from Pats blog "Sew Pat".
This concept is like the movie called Pay It Forward with Kevin Spacey and Haley Joel Osment in it. The 12 year old boy has a school assignment and he comes up with the PIF concept....it was a wonderful movie but you need your tissues. I sobbed. PIF is where acts of kindness are done without expecting anything in return, just passing it on, hoping that the recipients will do the same and pay it forward, like a never ending chain of kindness
I will make and send a gift for the first 3 friends who post a comment to this post, requesting to join this exchange, and promising to pay it forward to 3 other persons, etc.... I don't know what my 3 gifts will be,but I can promise I will send them within the next 365 days. What YOU have to do in return then, is "Pay It Forward" by making the same announcement and promise on YOUR blog. I now have 3 lovely bloggers willing to PIF. Janice, Linda "Kaaren". I never heard back from Deb or Adria after I replied to their comments left.

Kate did a great job huh? I quite like the stain/paint job Kate did too...not overly grubby but still not anaemic! lol You're certainly getting around a bit now hey? (well your pattern is) hee hee hee Hugs Naomi
Khris, your pattern is GORGEOUS! I love both renditions of her, she is such a lovely shape. You are very very talented. xx
I know what you mean about all the PC stuff that's in the world now... it's such a shame as I know I end up fratinising over the words I should be using... I fear it makes me seem ignorant by being insecure about choosing the right ones!
Hugs sweetie!
Vikki :-) xx
I remember the birth of Pippa. Very nice for Prim. LOl
I agree with you Khris. I think the correct name now is Jolly Golly. That is what I was told in a gift shop that had some to sell. Regards, Nessie
Melba is so sweet! Kate did a great job :-)

I love the gollywog dolls, I just bought TWO today to live in my new car!
And I want to try making some of my own too... now where would I get the pattern???
Hi Khris, very original your Pippa, I like! I had not realized that you had designed the doll patterns I saw in 'Slide - Prims I make'. Congratulations, I would be very difficult to achieve, you are really very talented.... very very good.
Hugs
Cristina
Great pattern, Khris. I think it's great when people put their own 'spin' on things to make it their own.
Now don't get me going on the PC stuff. You aren't going to believe this but my word verification to this post is 'golig'. Maybe that's what we're supposed to call them now!
Hi Khris, love your design of Pippa.....interesting to see variations of your design....everyone sees things differently....hugs lyn
